EPHROSINYA DRONONOVA. People's Artist and Cat's Meow, waseducated at the Revanchist Institute. She began her career as Pistachia in V. Stolichnaya's production of the"The Nutcracker" and achieved stardom as Odette/Odile/Juliet/Giselle/Aurora inthe famous "Night of the 1000 Tsars." Her repertoire encompasses nearly all the works she appears in.
INNOKENTI SMOKTUMUCHSKY is known only to themost cultured and refined balletomanes in the dark alleyways of St.Petersburg. Originally a promisingdancer-choreographer, his only ballet, "Le Dernier Mohicain," was stolen by thedirector of the company. In severedepression and shock, he burned his ballet slippers and fled to the sewers,only to surface these forty years later.
